This is VERY solidly built but the manufacturers as with many products today hadnt really given as much thought to the product as they could have

For most pepple it will probably be perfect, but if you plan to use it on a lot of cars, or have a car where the water jet is fed through the shaft that holds the wiper arm in place then when its fully extended it will still be a little short. To cover all wiper arms the two arms needed to be just as little as 5mm longer.
